Description:Overview: The republican unitary enterprise Gomel machine tool units plant was organized in 1961 on the base of the standard screw details shop of the Gomel machine-tool building plant by the name of Kirov, earlier created on the areas of builded glass package factory. ,The plant manufactured the first production - standard screw details (bolts, nuts, washers) in June of 1961. The elecrical-mechanical power tables , reducers to them, appliances for tool sharpeners were mastered in 1963-1964 years ,In the beginning of 70 years, in connection with introduction of new industrial powers , the plant sharply has changed specialization of production. During 70-80 years the plant has mastered manufacture of units for universal lathes (aprons and boxes of submissions), units for lathes with CNC and robots (automatic multycutter heads,hands for robots and etc.), radial-drilling machines with drilling diameter of 25 mm. ,In 1976-1991 years the plant was included into structure of Moscow machine-tool building association Red Proletarian(Krasny proletarij) ,In 90-th years the plant continues to solve large technical tasks of mastering new kinds of competitive and qualitative production. ,The factory has passed the large way of development and now it is one of advanced machine-tool building enterprises of Republic of Belarus. ,At present time the enterprise is the manufacturer of the next production: ,universal screw-cutting lathes ,radial-drilling machines ,bench milling-drilling machines ,bench-drilling machines ,rough-grinding machines ,units for lathes ,automatic head for lathes with CNC ,vertical - drilling machines. ,The staff of the enterprise is about 1200. Total square of the enterprise is 192 000 square metres and industrial area - 40000 square metres. Production of the plant is exploited more than in 100 countries of the world.
